The AutoPot Bucket System comes with a selected number of AutoPot buckets, a nutrient and water reservoir, and an aeration package.

Due to their versatile plumbing connections, these buckets can be moved or spaced apart when the plants begin to grow too large. All you need to do is keep the water reservoir filled with water and nutrients and this bucket system will take care of the rest!

Description

The AutoPot Bucket System can be configured in many different layout options. In detail, below is a sampling of the required space as well as their production estimates where we used tomatoes and peppers as examples for edible crops. However, The AutoPot Bucket System can grow many crops, not just tomatoes and peppers.

A Reservoir

A reservoir is included to be filled with both water and liquid nutrients. Water and nutrients from your reservoir are gravity fed to each bucket as needed, therefore eliminating the need for a water pump or complicated plumbing. Then, a gravity fed water line is activated by a float valve inside each bucket for self-watering.

In fact, your only job is to ensure the reservoir has an adequate amount of water and nutrients.

Aeration

Adding oxygen into your reservoir is essential for the plant roots and also allows for a steady flow of water and nutrients all while avoiding stagnation.

We supply the bucket system with our 4-port AquaAeration Kit, complete with the air pump, silicone airline tubing, and four airstones.

What You’ll Need

Grow Media

AutoPot XL Modules can be used with a growing medium of your choice. Optimal grow media includes a 50% mixture of perlite or clay pebbles and 50% soil or coco coir.

Luckily, we carry both clay pebbles and coco coir.

Nutrients

In addition to water, adding a nutrient solution provides a beneficial boost to your plants. For example, Espartan stimulates the development of the green leaf structures and fruits of plants. This is a full spectrum nutrient that can be used in aquaponic or organic hydroponic systems.
